The Archdiocese of Toronto is now accepting donations that will support vast humanitarian relief efforts following last month’s earthquake in Colombia and subsequent mudslides and flooding in Nepal.

Dozens of clergy from the Archdiocese of Bogotá embarked on a five-day pastoral mission to cities in Colombia devastated by the Aug. 10 earthquake.

The earthquake that shook Colombia Aug. 10 registered 7.4 on the Richter scale, but the damage it caused was far more severe than the number would indicate, say eyewitnesses.
